The iPad & Education

The latest technology from Apple is extremely appealing. The iPad, once again, challenges conventional methods of communication and connecting to information. The iPad is an inevitable future as an educational tool. First, the iPad does not have a installed camera (so the omission of the camera is a something very, very appealing to schools). At this point, it's going to avoid all of the scandal that cameras in cell/smart phone bring to the table. The price is relatively affordable (all things considered) and it could also cut down on the paper/book costs that schools incur. It's a formidable competitor to the Kindle. Of course, the maintenance is going to be expensive and must be considered.
